Designscape Tutorial: 4th of July Classic Stars

The 4th of July is by no doubt one of the most festive holidays celebrated in the United States. Palettes of red, white and blue are immersed in swimsuits, party decor, food, pool floaties and of course, nail art. So, for this upcoming holiday, take note from professional nail artist Maria Vlezko (@so_nailicious) and let her 4th of July Classic Stars inspire your holiday designscape.

You'll need:

    Apply OPI Infinite Shine Primer. Using a short striping brush and OPI Alpine Snow paint star outlines on the middle and thumb finger nails.

    Fill in the stars with OPI Alpine Snow till they’re fully opaque white. Perfect the lines, trying to get your stars looking as sharp and symmetrical as possible.

    Use OPI Indignantly Indigo and the same striping brush to outline the stars as pictured. At this stage you can easily correct all ‘white polish’ mistakes and perfect the stars.

    Fill in the remaining areas with dark blue polish, OPI Indignantly Indigo. Allow your nail design to dry for 3-5 minutes and seal it with OPI Infinite Shine Top Coat.
