Kerry Washington and OPI Co-Founder Suzi Weiss Fischmann collaborate on our upcoming Washington D.C. inspired collection.

The stunning Kerry Washington gracing yet another magazine cover is not news; however Kerry rockin' the cover of WWD and spilling the details on her creative collab with OPI definitely is! Kerry is the force behind (and the face) of our upcoming Washington D.C. Collection, launching this fall - a fitting role for a woman this sharp, passionate and politically minded.

"For me, what is political is very personal," Kerry says in her interview with WWD. "I love that we live in a participatory government, where our government reflects who we are. I also think we’re at a time of really needing to pay attention to protecting voting rights."

Kerry's passion for this project was felt throughout the creative process and is definitely apparent in the Washington D.C. Collection shades themselves. OPI co-founder & brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann says, "Kerry is a role model, style icon, nail lacquer lover and an absolute natural as our Creative Ambassador. She exemplifies the spirit of Washington, D.C. women, and her bold approach to life is evident everywhere from her acting to her activism to her red carpet style."

We know Kerry walks her talk, and the same goes for her OPI collection - 15 powerful shades which hit counters on Aug 4. Kerry tells WWD, "Nails are at that interesting point where fashion and beauty meet."

We can't help but to put our mani in the air and agree. To find out what the shade names are, including the one that's named after Kerry's daughter, read the full WWD article here
