How to Talk to Clients About OPI’s Nature Strong

We could say the beauty landscape is changing, but let’s be real, it already has. Natural and clean products are no longer a nice-to-have in the industry, they are an expectation, and clients are becoming savvier and savvier in nail health.

What does that mean? They’re conscious of what ingredients go into their products, so it’s no surprise that this has become a global obsession that’s growing rapidly.  

While many clients have made the switch to cleaner beauty, they have found that it comes at a cost–the products they know and love aren’t performing as well as their newer, fancier, natural versions, making them have to decide what’s more important: A polish that holds up? The biggest point of difference between OPI’s Nature Strong in comparison to other natural polishes is that ours actually performs. You can confidently say every shade offers up to 7 days of wear and shine, the hue won’t dull, it’s easy to apply and remove, and it dries fast. All around, it wears and performs like our original Nail Lacquer formula.

“It’s the natural choice!”

This is for anyone who carefully considers what they put in their body and on their body. It’s 9-free* which means it’s free of ingredients like Formaldehyde and Parabens. It’s vegan, non-GMO, and packed with good-for-you ingredients sourced from plants and minerals like sugar cane, wheat, and clay .*US only.

Important note: be careful how you mix and match OPI’s Nature Strong with other products. One of our favourite tricks for squeezing out the last drop of lacquer is adding 1-2 drops of Lacquer Thinner to the bottle, however, do note that adding this product to any Nature Strong shade compromises the natural-origin % in the overall formula.

“It doesn’t take forever to dry.”

While we focused on the natural origin, we didn’t forget about dry time. We kept the consistency of the formula between what you expect from our original Nail Lacquer and our Infinite Shine formulas so that it will meet your expectations for drying.

This is a big one. We hear a lot of clients (even the ones who are not afraid to stick their fingers and toes in anything) ask about the chemical smell polish emits. We did not include any artificial fragrances to mask the smell of our polish. But what’s great about Nature Strong is that the smell you are detecting is from plant-sourced ingredients.
