How to Apply OPI Infinite Shine Gel-like Lacquer
What is OPI Infinite Shine? OPI Infinite Shine is a 3-step system for long-lasting nail polish colour with up to 11 days of wear and shine.
The OPI Infinite Shine system has three steps: prime, colour, and gloss. Be sure to follow the proper application steps to ensure a chip-resistant manicure that lasts.
Before you get started, you'll need the following products:
OPI Infinite Shine ProStay Primer
OPI Infinite Shine Colour (we used Show Us Your Tips! for this step-by-step)
OPI Infinite Shine ProStay Gloss
OPI ProSpa Nail and Cuticle Oil
Now, for the steps...
Step 1
Start with properly prepped nails, and apply 1 thin coat of OPI Infinite Shine Gel-like Base Coat. Seal the edge of the nail before covering the entire nail surface without flooding the cuticle area. Let dry 1-2 minutes.
Step 2
With your Infinite Shine shade of choice, apply 1 thin layer to each nail. Let dry for 1-2 minutes. Pro Tip: It’s best to apply lacquers down the centre of the nail then work your way to the sides of the nail. Remember to cap the free edges. Once the nails are dry, apply a second coat to ensure full coverage. Allow nails to dry for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 3
Finish the mani with 1 thin layer of Infinite Shine Gloss to achieve a mirror-like shine. Be sure to cap the free edge to seal in the colour. Your Infinite Shine manicure will dry to the touch in 5 minutes, and dry completely within 20 - OPI Infinite Shine Gloss provides a durable finish that cures to a mirror shine in natural light. For optimal use, apply outdoors!
