A More Colourful Future with The Trevor Project

It’s important to us that every member of the OPI community not only has the tools to express themselves boldly, but that they feel supported when they do. Studies show that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning, intersex, asexual, and all existing sexual identities and/or gender orientations (LGBTQIA+) young people experience higher rates of mental health challenges than their straight and cisgender peers due to negative treatment such as bullying and discrimination–this can lead to chronic stress and increased suicide risk, especially in LGBTQIA+ youth. We want to help.

The Trevor Project

In addition to our vibrant palette, we donated and partnered with The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQIA+ youth. They create a safe space to connect by providing 24/7 crisis counselling for LGBTQIA+ young people that’s free, confidential, and easily accessible via their phone lifeline, chat, and text.

Our goal

Together, our goal is to support and amplify the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community and help build a more colourful future so everyone feels safe to radiate their true colours 24/7, 365.
