Her careful eye and creative approach to nails have made her a favorite with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Sydney Sweeney, Sabrina Carpenter, Vanessa Hudgens, and more. Her nail art ranges from minimal, nude manicures to bold, artistic designs, and has been featured on covers and in campaigns for various brands and publications.

OPI: What inspired you to start doing nails?

Zola: It was my hobby since I was a little girl and in 2016 when I moved to LA, I decided to learn it as a profession. 

OPI: What is your daily routine?

Zola: My daily routine is to wake up, check my emails, and social media, have breakfast if I’m not working on set and go to work, come home and make my kit ready for the next day, talk to my family in Mongolia and Japan and go to bed. 

OPI: What is your biggest achievement to date?

Zola: My biggest achievement to date is I’m able to do what I really love and by doing that I am making my parents proud. 

OPI: What tips would you give to aspiring nail artists?

Zola: Practice makes everything perfect. Never give up, and believe in yourself.

OPI: What is one thing we don't know about you?

Zola: That being a manicurist wasn’t my first career. I have bachelor's and master's degrees in financial management and business management. I had worked at a bank for in total 4 years. 

OPI: What was your first ever job?

Zola: It was a risk analyst at a bank. I started as an intern and worked there for 2 years. 

OPI: If you could give anyone a manicure (dead or alive), it would be…

Zola: For now, I really want to give a manicure and pedicure to my dad. I learned it professionally in the US when I moved here and haven’t got back to Mongolia since. My dad lives in Mongolia and has really bad ingrown nails. I’m planning to go there next year, so the first thing I will do is give him a manicure and pedicure.

Zola: Funny Bunny, Put it in Neutral, Bare my Soul, and Big Apple Red.
