How to Remove Gel Nail Polish by Hand
Awe good things must come to an end. Here's how to remove gel nail polish allll by hand.
Step by Step
Step 1
Step 2
File the free edge and sidewalls with an EDGE 240 File to break the seal. Pro Tip: strip any surface shine first for a quickie soak-off.
Step 3
Wet the pad of the Removal Wrap with Expert Touch Lacquer Remover.
Step 4
Wrap each finger nice and tight, making sure the pad is placed on top of the nail. Pro Tip: fold the top of the wrap inward for a more comfy soak-off experience. Psst, it also prevents acetone from evaporating.
Step 5
Once fingers are all wrapped, soak for 15 minutes (10 minutes if surface shine is removed). For a faster soak-off, place hands inside hand mitts.
Step 6
With the mitts still on, remove the wraps using a twisting motion to ensure a clean removal.
Step 7
Use a cuticle stick to gently push off the lifted product. If any GelColor remains, rewrap and soak for an additional 2-5 minutes.
Step 8
Wipe off any residue with a Nail Wipe saturated with N.A.S. 99 Nail Cleansing Solution and it's going, going, gone. Pro Tip: apply some Nail Envy for a li'l aftercare.
