Before you begin, create a custom shade by mixing 2 parts It’s A Girl! and 6 parts Clear Color Set Powder. Stir until fully mixed. To a properly prepped nail, apply Base Coat to the well of the nail tip then adhere to the natural nail.

Pro Tip: For warmer climates, apply Activator to the tip of the natural nail then apply Base Coat to the well of the nail tip for faster adhesion.

If necessary, use a QuickCut to reduce length. Shape to desired shape with 180 grit file. With an e-file, use a mandrel with a fine sand band to blend the nail tip into the natural nail. Remove excess dust, then apply 1 coat of OPI Bond Aid to the natural nail.

Pro Tip: Use 100/180 grit buffer to remove any fraying from the nail tip. This will ensure a smooth application.

Apply Base Coat to 80% of the nail, leaving a noticeable gap around the cuticle area. Immediately pour Custom Mix. Allow to absorb then tap to remove excess powder. Use a dust brush to remove any remaining powder.

Apply Base Coat to 90% of the nail then immediately pour Custom Mix. Allow to absorb then tap to remove excess powder. Use a dust brush to remove any remaining powder.

Applying Base coat to 99% of the nail, leaving a tiny margin around the cuticle area. Immediately pour Custom Mix. Use dust brush to remove any remaining powder.

Pro Tip: For service innovations such as building an extension with Powder Perfection, follow the 80-90-99 rule. This will reduce filing, prevent a bulky cuticle area and help build a proper apex.

Apply Base Coat to areas you want to encapsulate glitter. Immediately pour Raw Glitter. Tap, then remove excess glitter with a dust brush.

Apply 1 coat of Base Coat, covering the entire nail, making sure to cover the glitter, then immediately pour Clear Color Set Powder. Allow to absorb then tap to remove excess powder. Use a dust brush to remove any remaining powder.

Apply 1 generous coat of Activator. Wait 2 minutes for the US and 4 minutes for Canada. Shape and contour with a 180-grit file or e-file. Smooth with 100/180 then 220/280 grit buffer. Remove excess dust with a dust brush.

Apply 1 generous coat of Activator to the entire nail. Wait 2 minutes for the US and 4 minutes for Canada.

Finish with 2 coats of Top Coat. Wait 2 minutes between each coat. Try to use minimal strokes when applying to avoid over working the Top Coat and causing unwanted matte spots.

Finish with OPI Cuticle Oil.
