1. Shape nails, gently push back cuticles, and lightly buff away surface shine. 2. Wipe nails with a Prep Pad or 99% isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free wipe to remove oil and debris. 3. Shake all bottles well for 30 seconds before applying. 4. Apply one thin coat of GELement Base Coat to four fingers. Cure for 60 seconds in the GELement lamp. Repeat on the thumb. 5. Apply one thin coat of GELement color to four fingers. Cure for 60 seconds. Repeat on the thumb. Then repeat for a second coat. 6. Apply one thin coat of GELement No-Wipe Top Coat to four fingers. Apply 1 to 2 layers to reach your desired opacity. Be sure to cure between layers.
Your nails may not be properly prepped, or are undercured.
Place your 4 fingers in the lamp for 60 seconds, followed by your thumb for 60 seconds.
Use the 4-finger LED Gel Lamp, curing each nail for 60 seconds.
Yes. Gel polish does not air-dry. It requires exposure to specific lights to harden into a tough, smudge-free finish.
No. Regular nail polish cannot be dried using a UV/LED lamp.
For curing gel nails, LED lamps are a better option because they cure polish much faster and are generally more reliable.
Break the seal with a file. Saturate a cotton pad with acetone and wrap your nails, then soak 20 min. Gently flake the gel off and smooth the surface with a buffer.
