1. Prep nails for proper adhesion: push back cuticles, trim nails, file to shape, buff surface, and clean thoroughly with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol or N.A.S. 99 Cleansing Solution. 2. Shake all bottles well to mix pigments evenly. 3. Apply Natural Nail Base Coat: paint the edge of your nail first, then sweep a thin layer across the full nail. Let dry for 1-2 min. 4. Apply Nail Lacquer the same way: paint the edge first, then sweep a thin layer of color across the nail. Let dry 1-2 minutes. Repeat step for a second coat. 5. Yes. Nail lacquer is designed to be used on natural nails as part of a normal mani routine. Like with any polish, proper application (clean nails, a protective base coat, and giving your nails occasional breaks between manis) helps keep them healthy long-term.
OPI Nail Lacquer gives you up to 7 days of wear when applied with a Base Coat and Top Coat as part of the full 3-step system.
You can, but it's not recommended. Base Coat creates a protective barrier that helps your color adhere better, wear longer, and prevents staining or yellowing on your natural nail. Skipping it just means a shorter-lived, less protected mani.
