How to Apply OPI GELevate™ Soft Gel Tips

BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Prep those nails! Follow OPI Salon Service Nail Prep Basics step-by-step guide.

Size the GELevate™ Soft Gel Tips to all 10 nails, making sure they cover the nail from side to side and fit at the cuticle line.

If needed, size up the tip and customize sides and cuticle line with a file.

Apply a coat of Bondex Bonding Agent to each nail and allow to dry.

OPTIONAL: For a HEMA-free* and soak-off friendly service, skip Bondex application and apply a thin coat of GelColor Super Base Base Coat to all nails. Cure for 30 seconds in the Star Light Gel Lamp.

Apply a thin coat of GELevate™ 4-in-1 Builder OPI'm Flawless to all 5 nails, leaving a thin free margin around the perimeter of the nail. Cure for 30 seconds.

Apply a small amount of GELevate™ 4-in-1 Builder to the inside of the tip.

Align the cuticle line of the tip to the natural nail at a 45° angle and gently rock the tip forward, pushing the builder gel to the free edge of the nail.

Flash cure the nail for 5 seconds with the Lightning Flash Cure Gel Lamp.

Repeat on remaining nails until all nails are complete. Cure for 30 seconds in the Star Light Gel Lamp, and repeat on the other hand.

OPTIONAL: Remove gel residue with a nail wipe saturated with N.A.S. 99 Cleansing Solution and refine shape with a file as needed.

Pro Tip: If any gel seeps out from around the perimeter or underneath the nail, use a tapered bit to gently remove excess product.

OPTIONAL: Apply 2 coats of OPI GelColor, followed by one coat of GelColor Super Gloss Top Coat. Cure each layer for 30 seconds.

Apply a coat of GelColor Super Gloss Top Coat. Cure for 30 seconds in the Star Light Gel Lamp.

Remove gel residue with a nail wipe saturated with N.A.S. 99 Cleansing Solution.

Apply a drop of ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil to the base of each nail and massage in.
