OPI: The nail art you design ranges from minimal perfection to elaborately stunning! How do you help decide the right look for each?

Analysse: As I’ve grown as a nail artist, I have tried my best to be as versatile as possible. I have been blessed enough to create amazing relationships with my clients, which has allowed me to know their personality and translate it into my work. Typically I have clients show me previous work I , and other artists have done, and ask me to create something with my take on it. Others have prompted for the “clean girl trend”, which has allowed me to have space in the “simple nail girl” world as well.

OPI: What prompted you to start your journey as a nail artist?

Analysse: I have always loved the idea of being in the beauty industry since I was a young girl. During my transition from highschool to college, I, as well as the rest of the world, endured the pandemic. With transitioning to online school, I found peace in my long days doing my family’s and I’s nails. After a few sets, I truly found a passion that I had deep down. I then used my savings to purchase my first nail kit, and got the ball rolling.

OPI: Is there one OPI shade that you couldn't live without?

Analysse: One thing that has never changed about the nail industry is the love for a french tip. There is no perfect french without a perfect nude. For this reason, Bubble Bath will always be the shade I never stray away from.

OPI: The holidays are almost here! What's your go-to holiday nail art look, or something new you want to try this year?

Analysse: Something I love about the holidays is all the glitter we incorporate into our sets. Alongside glitter, I love when neutrals - and shades of red pop onto my feed of nails. Something I would love to try more of this year is textured or encapsulated sets!

OPI: Your client roster is elite! How did you start taking on prominent clients?

Analysse: I am so blessed to work with some amazing people in the industry! I took my first influencer/ celebrity client the day after I graduated nail school. She reached out to me via dm inquiring about my services, and I was so honored! Of course I took on this amazing opportunity which then helped to put my name on the map. Since this day, being posted and tagged by my clients with big names has helped get my name out to so many! I am so thankful for my amazing clients who never fail to plug me.

OPI: You've been featured in magazines and been on sets for so many exciting shoots! Which experience or feature has been your favorite so far?

Analysse: It is so surreal for me every time I am mentioned in a new magazine, or get to work on a new project! I think my two top memorable experiences that stand out to me are being featured in the New York Times & working alongside Rita Ora, for her music video.

OPI: How do you achieve the expert line work that we see featured on your IG page?

Analysse: First, thank you for thinking my line work is perfect! But, practice, practice, and more practice. As much as I wish I could say there is a specific technique for this look, all I ever focused on was practicing till perfection. Of course I do have my moments where the line is not perfect the first time, but I have become more confident in my line work with time. Practice & patience is key!

OPI: What advice would you give other nail techs who are looking to grow their presence on social media?

Analysse: Be real, authentic, and kind! Social media can be a scary place for all of us. I have always tried to focus on using my social media to display my talent and work, never drama, complaints about anyone or anything, and always shielded away from negativity. Create relationships with your followers and engage as much as you can! I will never be “too big” on social media to express my gratitude to someone in my comments, or reply to a fellow tech asking a question!

OPI: Do you have any advice for other nail techs heading into the holiday season to ensure their client schedule is fully booked out?

Analysse: Burnout is real during this time! Make sure you are taking care of your health and not neglecting yourself but enjoy this rush! Take advantage of the opportunity to get your name out to those in need of a bomb fresh set for the holiday, and gain a new client!

OPI: What do you hope to achieve in your future when it comes to nails?

Analysse: My goals are endless when it comes to nails as everyday I seem to have a new idea. I am trying to enjoy the now as much as possible but I have dreams I tell myself I will accomplish. Some of my current goals are to work and be a part of Fashion Week, expand my clientele to an even bigger audience, and open my own salon!
