OPI Eats: National Popcorn Day

Hot out of the pot for #NationalPopcornDay! This popcorn has a pop of color and flavor! Enjoy this recipe and share your photos on Instagram!



You'll Need:

  • Popcorn Kernels
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Add 3 tbsps of vegetable oil to pot
  2. Heat the oil
  3. Test the temperature by dropping 3 kernels into the oil
  4. Wait for the kernels to pop
  5. Add 1/3 cup of kernels to the pot and cover, leaving lid slightly ajar
  6. Once the kernels begin to pop, begin to shake the pot 
  7. When popping stops, turn off the heat
  8. Keep lid slightly ajar
  9. Remove from heat when popping stops
  10. In a small bowl mix 2 tsps chili powder
  11. Add 1 tsp paprika
  12. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  13. 1 tsp salt
  14. Season to taste

Now it's time to do your nails!

Shades used – Hot & Spicy and I Just Can’t Cope-A-Cabana

Get the Look!

  1. Start with OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
  2. Apply 2 coats I Just Can't Cope-A-Cabana
  3. With a makeup sponge, sponge on Hot & Spicy, creating a gradient at the top of the nail bed.
  4. Finish with OPI Top Coat
