The Easiest DIY French Tip Manicure

Step 1: Prep
Before you begin: prep those nails!
Follow our guide to ensure you get a clean foundation every time. TLDR:
1. Trim nails and shape with a 240-grit file.
2. Remove cuticles using Soothe & Remove Cuticles and a cuticle pusher.
3. Clean nails and apply Bond Aid.
Step 2: Base
Apply a thin coat of GELement Base Coat to nails. Using the GELement LED Gel Lamp, cure 4 fingers for 30 seconds, followed by your thumb for another 30 seconds to create the perfect foundation for color to cling to.
Step 3: Color
Apply a thin coat of a neutral pinkish shade, like GELement’s Made Ya Blush. Cure 4 fingers for 30 seconds, followed by your thumb for another 30 seconds.
Step 4: Tips
Paint your tips in a classic white shade like GELement’s Snow Angel. Cure 4 fingers for 30 seconds, followed by your thumb for another 30 seconds. Pro Tip: Use a detail brush to create your smile line before filling in the nail.
Step 5: Top
Seal in color and deliver shine that lasts using GELement No-Wipe Top Coat. Cure 4 fingers for 30 seconds, followed by your thumb for another 30 seconds. The scratch-resistant formula says "gel NO" to daily wear and tear while maintaining that just-left-the-home-salon gleam.
