Dip vs. Gel Nails: What’s the Difference?

We’re breaking down everything you need to know about gel vs. dip in this simple Q&A. Read up before your next appointment so you can walk in informed, confident, and ready to ask your nail pro for exactly what you want.

What is gel nail polish?

Our GelColor nail polish is a longer-lasting alternative to traditional nail polish, with one key difference: curing. Gelcolor polish needs to be placed under an LED light to set the color, lock in shine, and keep your mani looking fresh. With flexibility and a high-shine finish, GelColor is perfect for nail art or simply wanting to look polished for weeks of wear.
