Iconic Nail Polish Shades: May Edition

May Iconic Shades
  • May Iconic Shades
Hello May! It's time to embrace the spring season and our fifth month of celebrating 40 Years of Color. As we continue to highlight 40 of our favorite shades for our birthday, we embrace strong females, friendship and the perfect bridal nail color (wedding season is on the horizon!).
    1. Don't Bossa Nova Me Around

      Collection: Brazil Collection Spring/Summer 2014
In the words of our founder Suzi, this is a dusky pink for all the women who take charge. Channeling one of our favorite music styles, this shade gives a nod to Brazilian music and culture with a serious side of empowerment.

    2. Let's Be Friends!

      Collection: Hello Kitty Collection 2016 & 2019
This cotton candy pink of all pinks marks a moment when two icons came together: Hello Kitty and OPI. In fact this feminine shade was so popular, we bought it back in 2019 and it's been an everyday staple ever since.

    3. Kyoto Pearl

      Collection: The Original 30
One of our first EVER shades and still available today, Kyoto Pearl was inspired by our founder Suzi's mother as it was 'her perfect color'. The shade Suzi wore on her wedding day, this true icon brings to mind the magic of love.

    4. Dulce de Leche

      Collection: South America Collection 2002
A shade so sweet it's good enough to eat, this sweet, creamy nude is inspired by our favorite candy after a trip to South America. A classic nude, this is one of those staples you can wear all day, every day (and our founder Suzi does!).

    5. Strawberry Margarita

      Collection: Mexico Collection Spring/Summer 2006
In the month of Cinco de Mayo, we couldn't not celebrate our favorite tipple. A nod to one of Mexico's brightest and sweetest cocktails, all that's missing from this vibrant pink is a pinch of salt.
